One of our favorite collaborative projects over the past couple of years was Khruangbin and Leon Bridges‘ Texas Sun EP, which dropped in early 2020. Today we’re elated to share the news that the Houston-based band and Fort Worth-born singer are linking up once again for a new EP, this time titled Texas Moon.
It’s rare to see collaborators find such perfect synergy together, but Khruangbin and Leon Bridges do so effortlessly once again. They’ve released the first single from the new EP, titled “B-Side.” This serves as the counterpart to “C-Side,” which appeared on Texas Sun last year.
With Texas Sun radiating mostly warm energy, Texas Moon appears to be dipping its toes into a cooler sound. We’re fully here for it and cannot wait to hear the rest of what these four have come up with.
Texas Moon is set to drop early next year, February 18, 2022. You can stream the first single, “B-Side,” below. Enjoy!
