Lane 8 has announced three special outdoor live events that will take place during the summer of 2023. The This Never Happened Summer Gatherings are officially set to hit New York City, San Francisco, and Denver on June 3, June 17, and September 9, respectively.
These will be Lane 8’s only headlining shows of the year. He’ll also be performing 2-hour closing sets preceded by four other This Never Happened artists at each of the shows. As always, for This Never Happened events, the dancefloor will be phone-free. Attendees’ devices will be either locked in a Yondr case or have stickers placed over the cameras.

I have so many great memories of the experiences we shared at the summer gatherings in 2017 and 2019. The beautiful outdoor locations, the sense of freedom and connection that we all tapped into – they felt like the perfect companion events to our typical indoor TNH shows. We were supposed to do more summer gatherings in 2021, but we all know how that went. So it feels doubly exciting for me that we can make these shows happen this year.
