Louis Futon Inches Closer to Forthcoming Album with New Double Single “Re-Up / Amoeba”

|||,

Louis Futon is sounding his best yet with these recent releases. Not long ago he announced his next studio album, Couchsurfing, and introduced us to it with the first single, “Ron Burgundy.” Today he divulges two more pieces of the upcoming project, and they’re both hyping us up for what’s to come.

The first of the two singles, “Re-Up,” features one of our favorite rising rappers, the Philly-based Armani White. Armani couldn’t have given a better performance here, both rapping and singing-wise. He catches the pristine grooves that Louis Futon lays down right at the start, and doesn’t even think about looking back.

The second, “Amoeba,” is an instrumental that channels a funky, psychedelic sound. Every little piece of this tune falls perfectly into place, slowly evolving over the duration. This one really starts to resonate when those powerful horns come in.

You can stream both of the new Louis Futon tracks below. Stay tuned for the album which drops in just a few weeks on November 5. Enjoy!
