Minnesota is having himself one hell of a year. Just a few weeks ago, he dropped one of his hardest tracks in recent memory with Confusion and is already back with another festival-ready heater in “Desolation Peak.”
Things start out with a deep and eerie piano melody that sounds like it could have been recorded in the depths of a dark cave before taking a heavy turn with some fuzzy bass warbles and glitchy drum patterns. In true Minnesota fashion, the song delicately balances that line between ethereal and chaotic in a way that no other bass producer can match.
