2019 has been a fruitful year for fans of Mr. Carmack. We’ve been lucky enough to receive three projects from the TSIS favorite – Demolish, I <3 TRAP, and Rebuild have all been wonderful demonstrations in the wonky, experimental, bass filled trap music that we know and love from him. Maintaining the impressive productivity, the bass master has released five new tracks over the course of the past four days and it now seems these were leading up to some exciting news. Today, Mr. Carmack took to Instagram to announce a new album coming in November saying, “5+ years of work – these are the 11 songs that drove me to tears writing them – self mixed self mastered.”
The four tracks leading to this announcement are out on Spotify and Soundcloud. The first two, “Healing,” and “Remember to Remember,” tap into his wonky trap roots while “We Are The Same,” “DNA,” and “Roller Coaster,” have a slightly more funky and dancey vibe that Carmack executes in a pleasantly tranquil way.
