Foreign Family Artist obli Unveils Absolutely Stunning 4-Track Debut EP ‘Change’

No matter what kind of music you’re into, you will certainly be impressed with the dazzling energy of the four-track Change EP that electronic producer obli has just released. With this new EP, the LA-based producer has certainly announced himself to be one to look out for and certainly listen to.

Each track on the EP develops a unique groove, with diverse instrumentation and beat structures. The recurring element is the piano, which drives various emotions and energies across each track, resulting in a chic, late-night vibe.

The project kicks off with the bouncy house beat of “Hold It,” layering in all kinds of beautiful instrumentation and percussion, including some energetic keys and a warm bassline. Following that is the electrifying title track “Change,” a stirring, downtempo fusion of electronica and jazz that features stellar vocals from Omotola. Then comes another enticing groove on “Look,” a dynamic track containing another fusion of synths and instrumentation, this time mixing in some lovely guitar. The EP wraps up with a hypnotic and uplifting track in “Gone Away,” which shines the final spotlight on the piano.
