Phantoms Put The Dance In Indie-Dance With Club-Ready New EP ‘Perpetual Motion’

||, |,

We love a group that isn’t afraid of a diverse sonic pallet. Enter Phantoms. The Los Angeles-based duo have become primary contributors to ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective imprint after releasing their sophomore album, This Can’t Be Everything, in 2022. Today, they partner with label once more for the release of their latest EP, Perpetual Motion.

This latest project sees Phantoms return to the sounds that make up their musical DNA. The flavors of dynamic indie-dance and electro that permeate the six-track EP create a highly danceable experience that just might be the soundtrack for your weekend. Whether its the gritty nature of title track, “Perpetual Motion,” or the blog house inspired “Non-Stop,” there’s more than enough groove to go around. Speaking about the project Phantoms share:

“This EP marks an exciting turning point for us. After we finished our album ‘This Can’t Be Everything,’ we wanted to make some more club leaning records for our DJ sets without any real plan to release them. It felt like an opportunity to go back to our roots in the indie dance/electro/blog house world that got us into music in the first place. We’re super proud of how it came out and just excited to play a lot of these tracks in a live setting.”
