Rapper Phife Dawg‘s estate has unveiled the next single from his upcoming posthumous album. The track is called “French Kiss Deux,” an ode to Montreal that features Illa J (J Dilla’s brother).
The late A Tribe Called Quest rapper, who passed away in 2016 due to diabetes complications, was still sounding as smooth as ever while he was working on this new album. “French Kiss Deux” is the second single from the project. The first track, “Nutshell Part 2,” which featured Busta Rhymes and Redman, dropped earlier this year.
The posthumous album, titled Forever, does not have a set release date yet.
