The Maryland-based has brandished her own forward-thinking brand of bass and dubstep, earning her a routine spot on the female-led collective GRL GANG. Austeria has shown a mature evolution of sound since her debut in 2019. Much like the title suggests, “Metamorphosis” is her way of showcasing her own personal and sonic transformation to the world. Austeria starts things off with a bold cinematic intro, building in scale, before unfolding into a heavy bass affair riddled with epic synths and vocal chops. There’s a sense of confidence oozing throughout the production that feels like Austeria’s way of making her voice heard loud and clear.
