In the spring of 2020, we saw rap duo, Run The Jewels, go on an absolute tear-dropping single after single eventually culminating in the surprise early drop of their album, RTJ4. They’ve been keeping themselves plenty busy since then and today set the world on fire as they release the official remix of their Gang Starr sampled, “Ohh La La,” featuring none other than Tuneche himself, Lil Wayne.
Weezy makes his presence known immediately, his unmistakable delivery running through lyrical wordplay as only he can. Killer Mike, El-P, and Greg Nice take back over after that one minute of a clinic by President Carter, but honestly, I’m gonna run it back on Wayne’s verse a few more times before moving on.
