LA-based producer, Shallou, has mastered the art of making soft, yet emotive electronic music. He blew us away last year with his emotional debut album and we’ve been patiently waiting for new music ever since. Today, we’re happy to say that wait is finally over as he’s unveiled his latest EP, The Long Way Home, out now via FADER label.
The beautiful 5-track project began as an ode to a peaceful ocean town near San Francisco called Pacifica which represented a safe and inspirational place for Shallou. The EP is exploding with kaleidoscopic arrays of colorful production touches. Meanwhile, his lyrics range from introspective to intensely uplifting. As is true with so many artists during last year’s pandemic, Shallou soul searched through his music and what we’re left with is a beautiful product of that journey.
