Dubstep fans are in for a fiery treat at Okeechobee Music Festival next week. On Friday night, one of the genre’s most respected pioneers, Skream, is playing an “OG dubstep set” at Incendia, the traveling, fire-wielding stage outside the main festival grounds.
Incendia has been a staple at Okeechobee since its early beginnings, hosting surprise sets from (often bass-leaning) artists like Skrillex, GRiZ, and more. On Friday, March 3, Skream will revert back to his roots for a late night-offering of dubstep, something he only does on rare occasions at this point in his career.
Last year, Skream played a dubstep set at Coachella and at London Nightclub KOKO with fellow pioneer Mala.
Tickets for Okeechobee are still available for purchase. You can find them here. The festival takes place from March 2-March 5 in central Florida.
It’s happening. 🔥
