Out of the handful of tracks that Skrillex has shared over the past couple of months, “Butterflies,” his collab with Four Tet and Starrah, is my current favorite. He’s gone all out with these singles so far, releasing high-production music videos for both, further supporting the theory that an album is around the corner.
Today marks the release of the official music video for “Butterflies.” The video features a cleverly choreographed dance number in a world where humans live amongst ghosts. Throughout the video this tight-knit group of friends continuously encounter these ghosts while on a night out. The video concludes with these ghostly figures performing a dance of their own (which looks seriously dope).
