One Australian great takes on another! Tame Impala, the beloved band manned by Kevin Parker, has just shared for remix of acclaimed Australian rock band Crowded House. The track being remixed is “To The Island,” a track off of Crowded House’s first album in 11 years, Dreamers Are Waiting.
Kevin Parker injected the perfect dose of psychedelia into this track, manipulating the vocals while introducing a whole world of dreamy synths. Considering he’s been performing electronic shows under the name Tame Impala Sound System, it makes sense to hear this track focus in on trippy synth work.
This is the first Tame Impala remix since last year’s remix of 070 Shake’s “Guilty Conscience.”
