Fakear has gripped us tightly with his otherworldly productions recently. He’s in the midst of rolling out his third album, Everything Will Grow Again, and both singles so far, “Carrie” and “Tadlo” have captivated us endlessly. It’s one of the reasons why we’re so excited to deliver his exclusively curated playlist today, marking Vol. 008 of The Remedy.
Since Fakear is able to dip in and out of genres with ease, we were eager to see what he’d bring to the table with his playlist. We were not disappointed. In fact, it’s one of our favorites to date, reaching into the spine-tingling sounds of Aphex Twin and Jon Hopkins, the smooth grooves of Maribou State and Caribou, and of course, some his own work. The result is a wonderfully curated 50-track playlist that spans over four hours.
