Eric Prydz may deliver the most immersive live experience of any electronic artist in the world. His ever-evolving “EPIC” setup (Eric Prydz In Concert) is a stunning combination of holographic displays, LCD screens, and lasers that makes your average concert visuals look like a Game Boy Color in comparison. After multiple announcements and teasers, yesterday he shared a video on Twitter that gives us a glimpse of what the EPIC 6.0 HOLOSPHERE production is capable of.
The video shows a massive eyeball hovering above a crowd, frantically looking from side to side as the beat builds in intensity toward a drop. In the final few moments before the drop the eye looks directly down at the crowd, revealing Eric Prydz himself DJing in the pupil. On the explosion of techno eyeball gives way to a flashing array of dark green skulls, lasers, cubes, and of course the Cirez D logo (Eric Prydz’s techno alias) that makes you feel like you’re speeding through The Matrix. It looks like an unparalleled live experience from the electronic music legend, and you can check it out below.
