There are few other artists who we were hoping would perform a Tiny Desk Concert than FKJ. It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of the multi-faceted talent and the few videos of his raw performances are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Today, our wish was granted, as NPR Music has uploaded FKJ’s Tiny Desk Concert, which takes place inside the comfort of his lush home studio.
FKJ is coming off the release of his second studio album, V I N C E N T. The project is another brilliant piece of work to add to his discography, and this Tiny Desk is the first time we get to see him perform some of these tracks live. He doesn’t pick just from the new album, however. In addition to “New Life” and “IHM” he also performs “Ylang Ylang,” his 2018 single “TUI,” and even offers up an improvised jam session with himself.
