Skream had dubstep fans frothing this weekend when he announced that he would be playing a dubstep set at Coachella. Being slotted between The Glitch Mob and Ivy Lab on the Do LaB stage, he said “it only makes sense.” Skream, who typically plays house, techno, and breaks nowadays, showed up to Coachella with a drive full of old-school dubstep and proceeded to remind everyone that he is one of the OGs.
After the set took place, social media started exploding with videos from the set and praise for the veteran DJ. The Glitch Mob themselves even mentioned after his set that “there wouldn’t be dubstep in America without this guy.”
