This coming year will mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock music festival, and in celebration the Bethel Woods Center has announced its Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival, coinciding with Woodstock’s anniversary on August 16-18, 2019. About a month ago, a leak pertaining to possible artists to potentially perform at the festival surfaced online creating deserved hype around the festival. These rumored artists, spanning multiple genres, include Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Chance The Rapper, Eminem, Santana, Elton John, The Who, and many more.
While the artists remain unconfirmed, there are many details that have been officially confirmed by festival organizers. For instance, veteran event planners Live Nation and INVNT will be producing the festival, billed as a “pan-generational cultural event” that will feature “live music, TED-style talks and special exhibits”.
“Fifty years ago, people gathered peacefully on our site inspired to change the world through music.
