Worakls Enlists Rodriguez Jr. & Booka Shade For House Remixes Of Tracks From ‘Orchestra’ Album

Every once in a while we have the pleasure of listening to music from all over the world. Hearing artists work together and create unique sounds is just part of what makes modern day music accessibility so powerful. French musician Worakls, known for his organic and orchestral instrumentation, has been making truly unique electronic compositions for years now and has played shows and festivals across the globe. He released his album Orchestra back in 2019, and now has enlisted French DJ Rodriguez Jr. and Berlin-based Booka Shade to remix tracks off the LP.

A few weeks back, Rodriguez Jr. made his first appearance on the site with his revamp of Harry Romero’s “It Hurts.” This time he takes Worakls’ “Nikki” and infuses the organic house song with his signature lush and deep touch. He keeps the cinematic energy of the original track while incorporating some more drums and adds a classic piano melody that creates tension in the best way possible.

Booka Shade are house music icons at this point in their career and are known for their legendary remixes including those for Depeche Mode, Moby, Hot Chip and Rüfüs du Sol to name a few. This time the German duo put their skills to the test by remixing Worakls’ “Enduro.” They decide to turn the energy up quite a bit by adding some forceful techno driven drums and some scaling synths.
