Watch A-Trak Flip Post Malone & 21 Savage’s “Rockstar” With Detailed Production Video

A Trak Post Malone

Over the past few months we’ve come across more than a few remixes of Post Malone & 21 Savage’s “Rockstar”. But now, only days after dropping two new collabs with Baauer, the mix-up master A-Trak himself has raised the bar extremely high with his new flip of the infectious single - and he’s even provided a video detailing his entire process.

Those familiar with A-Trak’s #REALDJing videos will notice that this latest upload is considerably longer than his past ones. While he usually only uploads his short, finished products, today he’s taken viewers through the entire process of flipping “Rockstar”. During the almost 12-minute video, A-Trak explains everything from chopping up samples to triggering cue points and even throws an unreleased GTA remix of “Rockstar” in the mix. Check A-Trak’s entire process below and enjoy!

SLANDER Share Chill New Future Bass Remix For Post Malone's "I Fall Apart"

Slander Post Malone

SLANDER, like their close friend NGHTMRE, have shown time and time again that they can produce the heaviest, face-melting tracks, and then instantly flip 180 degrees and create something brilliant that will hit you right in the feels. That's exactly what we have today with SLANDER's remix of Post Malone's "I Fall Apart." Even though this new remix takes a more chill direction, they make sure the bass hits just hard enough.

The track begins with Post Malone’s reverberated, melancholy vocals over SLANDER’s perfectly placed piano chords. As the track transitions to the buildup, you can tell SLANDER is ready to hit you with something big. The delayed drop adds even more suspense as their future-bass chords swell underneath Post’s voice. Once the drums finally come in you won’t be able to stop yourself from moving. Enjoy!

Jerry Folk Impresses With Funky, Refreshing Remix Of Post Malone & 21 Savage’s “Rockstar”

Jerry Folk Post Malone

Jerry Folk has become a favorite of ours over the past couple of years, with 2017 no doubt being his most explosive year yet. The Norway-born producer and vocalist has maintained a spree of unique releases over the past few months, from his eclectic Purple Evenings mixtape we premiered in June to his recent remix of Lemaitre’s “Higher” just last month. Today Jerry Folk keeps the remix streak going with an incredible take on Post Malone’s “Rockstar” feat. 21 Savage.

Besides the familiar vocals (which Folk chops up and edits impeccably), this rework is in a smooth, funky realm entirely unique from the original. The producer recruited Los Angeles-based artist Heavy Mellow for some infectious guitar chords that pair perfectly with the simple percussion and subdued production. Folk takes the entire mood of the release deeper with an unexpected hip-hop switch mid-track, only to brighten things up once again with a light synth melody at the end. Check it out below and enjoy!
