Over the past year, Deathpact has continued to impress us time and time again with their dark, sinister sound. With incredible singles like “Piston” and “First Interference” plus some huge collabs with REZZ, 1788-L & more still delivering an extensive amount of bass to mainstages everywhere, today we’re excited to have the pleasure of premiering yet another exceedingly heavy track from the enigmatic producer, with their latest single “Point of Departure”.
In a sort of systematic evolution, Deathpact seems to only get better with every release – and this latest offering is surely no exception. Starting out with some deep, ominous soundscapes, slowly building into a chilling 4/4 groove stacked with, shrill, skittering synths, eerie mechanical whirring and booming bass, we’ve definitely learned to expect the unexpected from everything the mysterious producer churns out. Check out “Point of Departure”, out now via mau5trap below and make sure to keep an eye out for Deathpact’s full Departure EP dropping tomorrow (May 14). Enjoy!
