Jimmy Edgar is on a roll. After releasing “GET UP” & “METAL” with Danny Brown and SOPHIE, and “BENT” with HudMo before that, Jimmy has now dropped two new ones today.
“BE WITH YOU” (with Millie Go Lightly) is another testaments to the producer’s already revered versatility. While the last release showed off a more sinister sound, this one, while still displaying the toothy edges of Jimmy Edgar’s sound design, paint a different picture. “ZIGZAG,” on the other hand, is a cavernous, no-nonsense banger. Be sure you’re listening with some capable bass, because that one is a resounding bomb.
These flurry of tracks are leading up to Jimmy’s net full-length album, titled Cheetah Band. The release date on that one is still yet to be announced.
